Vacancy Details

The eDistrict Manager (EDM) positions are available on a contractual basis, with one vacancy in each district.

This is an all-inclusive monthly pay with no additional allowances or perks. Candidates must be prepared for a dynamic work environment that demands strong problem-solving skills and field-level coordination.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Postgraduate Degree in ME/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (IT)/MBA (IT) OR
• Undergraduate Degree in BE/B.Tech/BCA with exceptional technical proficiency.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in:
  • IT Projects
  • Software Development
  • Hardware and Networking
  • IT Infrastructure Deployment
  • IT Security Management

Key Skills Required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
• Knowledge of eGovernance initiatives and IT-enabled service projects.
• Excellent people management and project coordination skills.
• Willingness to work in rural areas, handle field assignments, and travel extensively.

Age Limit

• 24 to 44 years as of 01.01.2025.
• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/BC & EWS categories.

Locality Requirement

Candidates must be natives of the districts they are applying for:

• For Bhadradri Kothagudem: Native of Khammam/Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
• For Medchal Malkajgiri: Native of Rangareddy/Medchal Malkajgiri district.

Selection Process

The recruitment process involves multiple stages:

1. Academic Performance:
   Marks obtained in the highest qualification will be considered. Postgraduates will receive additional weightage.
2. Experience and Certifications:
   Candidates with relevant certifications and strong work experience in IT or eGovernance projects will be given preference.
3. Interview:
   The top 20 candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications and experience and called for an interview.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an eDistrict Manager (EDM), you will play a pivotal role in implementing eGovernance services at the grassroots level. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing MeeSeva operations at the district and kiosk levels.
• Conducting training programs for stakeholders to enhance capacity building.
• Resolving technical and operational issues faced by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).
• Performing regular inspections of MeeSeva centers to ensure compliance.
• Coordinating with state and national teams to implement IT projects.
• Supporting DeGS programs and enabling their successful execution in Gram Panchayats.
• Acting as the first point of contact for resolving VLE and helpdesk issues.
• Performing additional duties assigned by the ITE&C Department and district administration.

Terms of Engagement

• The contract is for a minimum of 1 year, extendable based on performance.

• This position does not guarantee permanent employment in the government.
