The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released an official notification for recruitment of Office Attendant (Class IV) posts under Panel Year 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online through the RBI official recruitment portal. Selection will be made through Online Test followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Total 572 vacancies are distributed across RBI offices as given below:

RBI Office Attendant Eligibility Criteria 2026

1) Nationality

A candidate must be:

• a citizen of India OR

• subject of Nepal / Bhutan OR

• Tibetan refugee (came to India before 01-01-1962) OR

• person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan/Burma/Sri Lanka/East African countries etc.

📌 Candidates under certain categories must have Government of India eligibility certificate.

2) Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

✅ Minimum Age: 18 Years
✅ Maximum Age: 25 Years

Eligible DOB range:

• Born not earlier than 02-01-2001

• Born not later than 01-01-2008 (both inclusive)

Age Relaxation

⚠️ Cumulative age relaxation is NOT allowed.

3) Educational Qualification (as on 01-01-2026)

✅ Candidate must have passed 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT board under the regional jurisdiction of the recruiting office.

✅ Candidate must be Undergraduate as on 01-01-2026.

❌ Graduates and candidates having higher qualifications are NOT eligible to apply.

4) Local Language Requirement

Candidates applying to an office must be proficient in the official/local language of that State/UT (Read, Write, Speak & Understand).

Selection will be through:

✅ Total Marks            : 120
✅ Duration                : 90 Minutes

Negative Marking

• 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer.

• Candidate must qualify in each section separately.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates shortlisted from the online exam will have to appear for LPT.

• LPT is qualifying in nature

• Conducted in the official/local language of the concerned state

• Not qualified in LPT = Disqualification

Monthly Gross Salary

• Opening/closing of sections/divisions
